There are stories that Newgrange may contain another passageway, in addition to the world-famous passage which gets the rays of sunlight at dawn on the shortest day of the year. The UNESCO heritage site, only a few miles from Duffys of Ballybin, was originally excavated in the 1960s, but apparently the excavation was never completed. Similar monuments at Knowth and Dowth have more than one passage.
